Federal Lifeline Week September 2026
The Federal Lifeline Program is a Federal Communications Commission program that helps make communications services more affordable for low-income consumers. Lifeline provides subscribers a discount on qualifying monthly telephone service, broadband internet service, or bundled voice-broadband packages. Celebrate Aging Expo Recap
At the end of July, Park Region’s Network Helpdesk Tech Dan Murdock held a Cybersecurity & Phishing Breakout Session at the Celebrating Aging Expo that took place at the Bigwood Event Center. How To Restrict Unwanted Telephone Solicitations
In 2003, the Do-Not-Call Act was signed into law. This legislation allowed for the establishment and enforcement of a national Do-Not-Call Registry giving consumers a choice regarding telemarketing calls. FRS Community Grant Program

Welcome Dacia Young to the Park Region Team
We are thrilled to introduce and welcome Dacia Young as our new Provisioning Specialist! Her hometown is Underwood, MN and has been in the area her whole life. She has gained experience in a variety of administrative work over the past 9 years. In her free time, she loves being with friends and family as much as possible, and also enjoying a good book.
