The Federal Lifeline Program is a Federal Communications Commission program that helps make communications services more affordable for low-income consumers. Lifeline provides subscribers a discount on qualifying monthly telephone service, broadband internet service, or bundled voice-broadband packages. At the end of July, Park Region’s Network Helpdesk Tech Dan Murdock held a Cybersecurity & Phishing Breakout Session at the Celebrating Aging Expo that took place at the Bigwood Event Center. In 2003, the Do-Not-Call Act was signed into law. We are thrilled to introduce and welcome Dacia Young as our new Provisioning Specialist! Her hometown is Underwood, MN and has been in the area her whole life. She has gained experience in a variety of administrative work over the past 9 years. In her free time, she loves being with friends and family as much as possible, and also enjoying a good book.
