USS Minnesota Crew Visit

The Navy League of the United States, Twin Cities Council, will be sponsoring a visit in Fergus Falls. The US Navy is building the Virginia-class fast attack submarine MINNESOTA. This submarine will launch in approx. 10 months.

The Commanding Officer, Cdr. John Fancher and the Executive Officer, MN (Brandon) native Lt. Cdr. Craig Hempeck will be part of this visit to Fergus Falls as well as two other Sailors from the MINNESOTA.

Goal of this visit to Fergus Falls:

·         meet politicians, media, business leaders, top students - it will take top students to run the high tech US Navy in the years to come

·         promote the submarine, civic pride, and it's important that we bring our Sailors to local communities
