Will be discussing what work was like on a daily basis at the State Hospital. With 1,800 patients housed at the hospital twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, a system had to be in place in which each employee knew their role. What were jobs like for attendants, nurses, administrators, doctors? Where procedures in place for emergencies? What was a typical day like? The answer to these and many other questions will be discussed.
