Painting with a Limited Palette

Matt Kania is a plein air and studio oil painter who lives and creates original works of art from his home base of Duluth. Matt’s paintings are often cited for their authenticity – capturing the experience of a landscape or a unique moment in time. As a result, many of Matt’s works go beyond pure landscape as a subject. Often they include cultural features or display humans’ interaction with their environment.
