Thursday, February 4th, come into UPBC to see another amazing regional singer/songwriter, Brianne Lane!

Hailing from the song-rich soil of Minneapolis, Brianna Lane is the latest in a deluge of compelling songwriters flooding the region. Lane's vocals are both confident and fragile, running parallels to Mindy Smith or a close confidant to Americana veteran Patty Griffin. Brianna Lane's latest album, The Navigator's Club, was released in May 2015. A lot of the songs on the album were written while one relationship was ending and another was beginning; the songs certainly show hope and desire as well as cynicism and frustration.
