Workforce Changes for the Future
Immigration
Bill Blazar, Vice President of the Minnesota Chamber, will discuss the importance of immigrants to the development and growth of the state’s economy, including their role in the workforce. His presentation shows the range of their contributions and how it is likely to increase over the next 20 years.
Healthcare
Laurissa Stigen, Director of the Central MN Area Health Education Center, will present trends in the healthcare field and provide updates on current healthcare workforce issues in west central Minnesota.
