This 2-session Workshop prepares job seekers to be competitive in the local job market. Career development and coaching services include: basic skill development, occupational skills training, and job search support. Whether an individual is exploring their first job or a career change, this workshop helps people reach a level of confidence to independently conduct a full-cycle job search. Topics covered include: where to find the job opportunities in your community, matching your skills to the openings, social media - how it can help and hinder your search, resume writing, how to stand out, interview coaching, job offers, and transitioning. Bring a laptop, resume, or information for a resume. Scholarships are available for those who are unable to pay the fee. Please call Community Education at 998-0544, ext 9200, for more information.
