Build your leadership foundation and practically apply leadership guidelines to your organization. The session is based on two foundational concepts:
1. Three Things Effective Leaders Do
a. Invest in their own strengths
b. Surround themselves with the right people and maximize their team
c. Understand the needs of followers
2. The Four Basic Needs of Followers
a. Trust
b. Compassion
c. Stability
d. Hope
- Identify the critical role leaders play in employee engagement and organizational success.
- Outline common "things" effective leaders do.
- Analyze the basic needs of followers and identify leadership behaviors that help meet those needs.
- Assess where you may have strengths and challenges in meeting the needs of followers.
