Franchise Fees Open House

On Thursday, March 21, Moore Engineering will host an open house from 5 – 6:30 p.m. for residents to learn more about franchise fees. Moore Engineering has been working with the City of Fergus Falls to identify how the use of franchise fees could provide additional funds for street projects. “The City engaged our services to be that independent, third-party consultant,” said Tyson Hajicek, PE, Chief Operating Officer for Moore Engineering. “The City Council and residents asked for a deeper dive about the options and potential projects that might be added if franchise fees are implemented.”
 
The open house will be held in the City Council Chambers in City Hall, 112 W. Washington Ave. Engineers, finance and administrative staff will be on hand to discuss findings with residents, answer questions and gather feedback which will be shared with the City Council.
