Fergus Falls Small Business Training: Leadership Series
Hosted by Fergus Falls Area Economic Improvement Commission Studies show employees don't leave jobs, they leave managers. With the employment challenges in our region, it is critical that leaders understand what it takes to retain valuable employees. In this interactive 3-part session, we will identify key characteristics that effective leaders have in common, explore the basic needs of followers, and practice techniques for improving engagement through strengths-based coaching.
In addition, we will define the various dimensions of diversity in our communities and workplaces, and explore ways to ensure we are building a respectful and welcoming environment.
