  • Establish relationships with local media representatives and get inside information on their role in providing timely, actionable information to your audiences
  • Pick up resources to support your efforts to monitor, collect, analyze, and disseminate coordinated information from multiple sources to diverse stakeholders
  • Practice many of the techniques essential to communications success
