The Fergus Falls Area Chamber has the answer – the Minnesota Business Gives Workshop: Strategies for Smart Giving, on Tuesday, October 5, 2010.  Don’t miss it!

This two-hour interactive workshop will help you:

§         Clarify why and how you give

§         Establish goals and criteria for the use of your donations

§         Identify best policies and practices

§         Determine your decision-making process

Each participant will receive a free copy of Minnesota Business Giving and Community Involvement Workbook (a $24.95 value) as a guide for the discussion.  Using forms from the Workbook, you will leave with the outline of a giving plan for your business.

You will also have the opportunity to talk about setting up a budget and evaluating your efforts as well as ways to involve your employees in your giving plan.
