Does your business have a specific giving plan for your charitable donations?  Ever wonder how other businesses handle their donation requests?  How you can be more strategic about what you give and to whom?

The Fergus Falls Area Chamber has the answer – the Minnesota Business Gives Workshop: Strategies for Smart Giving, on Wednesday, October 7, 2009.  Don’t miss it!

This two-hour interactive workshop will help you:

§         Clarify why and how you give

§         Establish goals and criteria for the use of your donations

§         Identify best policies and practices

§         Determine your decision-making process

Each participant will receive a free copy of Minnesota Business Giving and Community Involvement Workbook (a $24.95 value) as a guide for the discussion.  Using forms from the Workbook, you will leave with the outline of a giving plan for your business.

You will also have the opportunity to talk about setting up a budget and evaluating your efforts as well as ways to involve your employees in your giving plan.
