Before The Flood

There will be a free showing of the film, “Before the Flood”, on January 20th at 2:00 p.m., at the Center for the Arts in Fergus Falls. Academy Award winning filmmaker Fisher Stevens and actor, environmental activist, Leonardo DiCaprio, collaborated on the project which presents the riveting account of changes now occurring around the world due to climate change. The film follows DiCaprio as he travels to five continents and the Arctic speaking to scientists, world leaders, activists and residents to gain a deeper understanding of this complex issue and investigate possible solutions. The showing of the film will be followed by refreshments and an optional discussion for those who would like to learn more about climate change issues and what they might do to participate in a respectful, nonpartisan approach towards fair, effective and sustainable solutions.
