DESCRIPTION:The Chamber's Speed Networking is a fantastic way to meet Fergus Falls High School students and potentially host a student intern. Connect to your future workforce and the students will learn about your business. \n\n \n\n"Speed Networking" event for Spring Trimester Work-Based Learning students will be at Fergus Falls Community Education (south of the community arena) on Monday\, March 11 from 12:15-1:30pm. Please bring 15-20 business cards to share with students and Eli Hill\, Work Based Learning Instructor. Please park in the arena parking lot\, enter the front doors and continue to the left to the community education rooms.\n\n \n\nThe "Speed Networking" will consist of brief introductions between you and each student. We'll encourage everyone to stand up and "practice" a professional handshake for starters. Then you will have the opportunity to ask the students what they're interested in\, their favorite classes\, the types of work they enjoy etc. You can share with them basic details about your business such as:\n\nBusiness description   include main products/services\, the area served\, size of staff\, and years in business.\n\nCareer opportunities at your organization\, salary ranges\, benefits\, culture\n\nAdditional information (Dress code\, message to students\, leadership experience\, reason for participating.)\n\n\n\nStudents will work with Mr. Hill to select an internship(s) location. Some students will have more than one location.\n\nSpring Trimester: March 18   May 29\n\n	Classes/Internship Time Periods: \n	8:30-10:30am\n	9:40-11:40am \n	1:10-3:10pm\n\nPaid internships may be eligible for reimbursement through the Chamber's Future Ready Workforce Grant.\n\nRegister your business for the grant here.
