DESCRIPTION:Crush COVID at Chamber Golf Social  Distancing Sept. 14\n\n \n\nIf you've ever wanted to crush\, crash or blast COVID\, the Chamber can help. Come out to Pebble Lake Golf Club's (PLGC) Driving Range on Monday\, September 14 between 2:00pm and 6:00pm and take a swing at COVID-19\, literally. For $20\, you'll get to drive 5 golf balls directly at targets made of glass\, emblazoned with a COVID icon/critter. Plus\, those who hit the target will get entered in a drawing to win half the cash collected.\n\n \n\nJoin other Chamber members and play a quick round (9 holes) of golf for a Chamber special rate of only $27 per person\, including a cart for two. Just call PLGC 736-7404 for Tee Times from 2:00-4:30pm. "We're playing it safe this year\," said Lisa Workman\, Chamber President. "We're hosting an afternoon of golf and 'games of skill & chance\,' because our members want to get out of the office and see each other\, from a distance of course. We look forward to our golf tournament every year\, so we're putting together a safe day\, with fewer people and no contact."\n\n \n\nAnyone can get involved   and you don't even need to be present. Everyone in the community is invited to buy a chance to win up to $2\,000 in the "Golf Ball Drop" at 6:00pm. For $20\, you'll get 5 chances (5 numbered golf balls) to win "half the cash" when we drop 1\,000 numbered golf balls from a 15-foot ladder on the practice green. The "owner" of the ball that goes in the hole or is closest\, will win.
